People are wild about Atlantic City's hotel star—The Borgata.
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa opened as the first truly Vegas-style hotel in the Northeast. The Borgata immediately trumped all other Atlantic City hotels, including Trump's deluxe Taj Mahal.
We like Donald Trump, but as Larry Kudlow said on CNBC, "The Borgata Casino is just kind of kicking Trump's you know what in Atlantic City."
We still love others, but the Borgata Casino is one awesome hotel.

The inside of the Borgata Hotel rivals the Bellagio in Las Vegas in high style and sheer luxury. Outside, its MGM Grand-like glass tower stands tall, adjacent to Atlantic City's marina.

Unlike when it first opened, it's now easier to get room reservations at the Borgata, especially on weekdays. Rooms still book up, so plan ahead if you wish to stay at the Borgata Hotel.
Hotels.com Atlantic City usually offers the best Borgata discounts. When comparing prices with other sites, be sure to compare the total cost, including taxes and fees.
If your plans are last minute, you can stay at nearby and excellent hotels mentioned below. You don't have to sleep at the Borgata to use its incredible casino, or to enjoy its entertainers, fine restaurants, bars, dancing, and spa.

Harrah's Atlantic City and Trump Marina Casino give you the easiest access to the Borgata.
Or, you may wish to stay in the Boardwalk area, which puts you closer to other big name casinos.
Besides the Trump Taj Mahal, the first class and deluxe Boardwalk hotels we like best are Bally's Atlantic City, Harrah's Showboat Casino Atlantic City, and, of course, Caesars Palace Atlantic City.
We also like the Hilton and Tropicana farther down the boardwalk (less convenient) and the Sheraton Convention Center.
