Traveling to Disney World in Orlando presents many choices. You have to find the right combination of convenience and price.

Whether you want a cheap, but good quality budget hotel in Orlando or a big discount on a luxury one, the information here helps you make the right choice.

Orlando hotel location tips:

• Stay close to Disney World and Universal Studios. Traffic in Orlando is simply terrible, and you'll waste too much time if your hotel's too isolated.
  
  Booking a hotel directly on the Disney World transportation system gives most convenience. However, this costs big time, and you're probably not going to be spending all your time at the Disney parks anyway.
  
  
• These neighborhoods are very convenient—
  
  Disney World Vicinity - the area immediately adjacent
  Universal Studios/Sea World/International Drive
  
  In these areas, hotels usually offer free or very low cost van transfers to either Disney or Universal or both.

  Hotels in these areas, other than sometimes downtown, usually offer van transfers for a nominal fee. Using a van saves you parking hassles.
  
  Kissimmee has the largest selection of budget class accommodation in Orlando.
