Check out my interview with Emily Gerson of Maiden Voyage. See if you think I convinced Emily to use Priceline.com.
As with so many enthusiastic travelers, Emily loves planning her trips. She researches the perfect hotel or neighborhood walk. With Priceline, she loses at least some control over the experience. After all, Emily won’t find out the name of her hotel until after Priceline accepts her bid.
On the other hand, Emily also realizes that she can save a lot of money with Priceline. That can be a powerful motivator for someone who loves to travel. I can’t wait for her decision!
Emily, who founded Maiden Voyage to help young travelers step out into the world by giving travel advice, reviews, and ideas, has an amazing background.
Besides truly extensive travel and a career of writing, editing, and new media consulting, Emily finds the time to play the cello professionally, including an appearance at Carnegie Hall. Find out more about her at emilystarbuck.com and on Twitter at @themaidenvoyage.

Thanks for mentioning our interview, Don! I’m still a little skeptical about using Priceline for airfare, but you’ve definitely convinced me to give it a shot for hotels! I appreciate you sharing your wisdom with my readers.
